We have an app for that!

 

Butler Area Public Library has a mobile app for iOS and Android devices.

 

The app is free to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The app can be found by searching for “BCFLS” in either store.

After downloading the app, patrons can log into their account using their library card number and PIN, search the library catalog, renew items, and place items on hold. The app can also be used as a library card by clicking My Barcode.

Many patrons find the app a useful place to store the accounts for all members of the household.

Another popular feature of the new app is the Self-Check option. Patrons can use this feature to scan an item’s barcode and check it out to their account without going to the circulation desk.
