Butler Area Public Library encourages book discussions for intellectual growth and fun.
We have several book clubs at the library, but patrons may also check out sets of books to use for their own book clubs. All you need is a library card and interested friends. Each bag contains:

11-12 copies of the book, study guides (if available), author biography, information about the book, and discussion questions.
How it Works

Kits are checked out for four weeks and may be renewed once

Only one kit may be checked out at a time

You can place holds on the kits

Titles currently available are shelved next to the new books and listed below
The Butler Public Libary has a large collection of Periodicals.
Periodicals are publications which are issued at regular intervals, such as journals, magazines, and newspapers.

Because they are published frequently, periodicals are the best sources for current information.

Current events are usually discussed in periodicals long before they become the subject of a book.

Periodicals often contain information on the latest trends, products, research and theories.
