Butler Area Public Library COVID-19 Policies

UPDATED 28 June 2021

Masks are optional for fully-vaccinated individuals.

Per CDC guidelines, it is recommended that unvaccinated patrons still mask and practice social distancing.

HEALTH & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The well-being of our community and staff is always our top priority.

What we're doing to keep you safe:

  • Offering contactless holds pickup.

  • Following cleaning and disinfecting protocols put out by the CDC.

  • Offering only Virtual Programming at this time (no in-person programming.)

What we're asking you to do:

  • Do not enter the library if you currently have or recently had a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or are feeling unwell.

  • Keep your hands clean. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the library.

  • Maintain at least 6 feet of distance from others.

COMPUTER USE AND PRINTING

We have limited our public computers to six in order to maintain social distancing, and we will be disinfecting them between each use. Computer sessions will be limited to 2-hours, first-come, first served.

If you have a quick print job, we can also print something for you by email! Send your items to be printed to print@bcfls.org with the subject "Please Print" and your contact info. We'll get in touch to coordinate a pickup of your documents.

We can also print from your phone or laptop in this way if you walk up to the Reference Desk.

Standard print fees apply and are due at pickup: 10cents/page black and white, 50cents/page color.
