Special Services

The Doorstep Program

The Doorstep Delivery Program provides reading and audio-visual material to patrons who are temporarily or permanently homebound. Once a month, volunteers deliver books and other Library materials to the homes of these patrons. This service covers the city of Butler and suburbs and depends upon available volunteers.

TTY (Teletype Telephone)

Each of the libraries of the Library System of Butler County has TTYs. This new equipment will help us serve our hearing impaired patrons. Our TTY equipment is located at the Reference Desk. The phone number for this service is: (724) 287-1781.
