Renewing Materials

• All materials may be renewed except for items that are overdue, on hold for another patron, a rental DVD or an interlibrary loan item.
• Renew materials by phone.  Call us at 724-287-1715 or in person at the Library.
• Renew materials Online!
  • On the left menu, click on the 'My Online Catalog' link.
  • Click  
  • In the Patron ID field, type the barcode from your library card.
  • Type in your PIN number, which is the last 4 digits of your Library bar code number.  If you are having trouble with your pin, call 724-287-1715 and we will reset it for you.
  • Once you're logged in, click on 'Current Loans'.
  • Check the box next to items and click 'Renew'.

Review Your Patron Record Online

• Follow the same procedures for logging in for online materials renewal above.
• On your record you will be able to see what you have checked out and when it is due, what you have on hold, if your hold has arrived and if you have any charges or fines on your card.

Placing Holds on Materials

• You may place a hold on materials by coming to the Library, by phone or online.
• Placing a hold online is easy!
  • First, search our Online Catalog for the title(s) you want.
  • Once you've found your title, click on the gray box to the left of the title which says 'Request Hold'.
  • Input your patron ID number (your library barcode number) and PIN.
  • Choose the library where you would like to pick up your items in the drop down menu below.
  • Click the "Submit Request" button.
  • The Library you selected will call you when your items are available.
